Who are you guys?
We are an independent adult reviews site. The keyword being independent. We don't get paid for the reviews from any of the paysites, nor do we receive any preferential treatment from them. For the most part, the only thing they give us is an occasional free username and password to stroll around their sites and write up a review. Many times however, we are forced to fork over our own cash for access to the members area.
Individually, we're just your average, everyday Joes with a 9-5 day job. Like you, we happen to like to come home and surf some good porn online. This review site is our creation, our content, and our honest thoughts. PornKangaroo.com is owned by our own company, JustTurnLeft.com.
When and why did you start this site?
As regular porn fans, we got burnt by our fair share of adult sites in the day. Nothing sucked more than forking over thirty dollars for a porn site that you closed up in 20 seconds. This gave us the idea to create a site offering honest porn reviews. Hopefully our reviews can help save you a few bucks, and possibly introduce you to a few sites you may not have known about.
PornKangaroo.com launched in 2004 as an informational site listing the top paysites at the time. It was in January of 2005 that the idea to convert it to a review site was made and after six months of work, we officially launched the review site in July 2005.
How many of you guys are there?
Believe it or not, just two of us at the moment. One of us handles the backend system while the other handles the design. Both of us write reviews however. Hopefully we'll be able to add to the group in the coming months.
How do you choose the sites to review?
Most of the time we review sites that we ome across surfing porn. If you're a regular surfer of TGPs, you know what is popular at the moment. We try and review these sites, while making sure to pick up any new ones that come out before they hit the public. We are also open to suggestions from surfers and website owners and do our best to review them in a timely manner. What's different about your review site?
We're not just surfers, we're also people familiar with the industry and how it works. We can spot scams and dishonest marketing better than anyone. Not only will you be getting the perspective of an industry expert, but that of a surfer. This mix makes our reviews unique from others, and hopefully more informative and enjoyable to you.
Besides our unique perspective, our reviews are very extensive and in-depth. We don't just throw up some bogus ratings and some basic information you can find yourself on the tour. We actually go in and research the site, sometimes keeping a membership for a couple months to ensure that the updates promised are actually happening. It's also not uncommon for us to go in and change our reviews on a site based on changes they have made or promises they haven't kept.
We put quality above quantity when it comes to how many reviews we list here. You may see others pumping out 10 reviews a day, but we're certain you'll notice a signifigant difference in the quality and information you see in them.
Do you guys need help with reviews?
