First Impression
Hey, it's our old friend Ron Jeremy front and center to tell us that these guys don't have what it takes. That can't be a good sign. The members section is laid out with the newest porn stud contestant in the middle of the page along with a link to the archives. You'll find plenty of other content the free bonus sites, adult e-zines, webcam chats, and live video feeds along the side. It's a bit messy but you'll get the hang of it.

So you've been watching hardcore porn for years and think to yourself, "this is fucking easy, I should be in one of these pornos". Well Porn Stud Search takes you behind the scenes to show you what happens when that regular Joe is asked to perform in front of the camera with some sexy pornstars. You'll be surprised to know, it isn't nearly as easy as it looks.
We were really stoked about reviewing Porn Stud Search because of its unique concept. With a copy cat industry in place, you rarely come across a site that takes a chance at something new. The concept is pretty simple. They grab some random guy and offer him a chance to perform his sexual talents on some lovely experience porn starlets. All the while he is being graded by the King of Porn himself, Ron Jeremy. It's kind of like a one time audition to be a future pornstar. Now if that isn't pressure, I don't know what is.
We'd first like to point out that these videos are as real as it gets. We know of actual people who have been picked up at trade shows and whatnot to participate in these videos. You won't find any male porn actors in these films, these are real everyday guys like you and me. With that said, the videos are kind of weak in terms of hardcore quality. As expected, the guys aren't always on cue with what you see from the pros. The girls do help out though, and for the most part guide the scene in the right direction. The best analogy I can come up with is a mix between a porn shoot and a completely amateur video. You certainly won't be blown away by the content, but you are here more for the fantasy element of an everyday guy getting his shot at fucking a pornstar. Some of the videos come out poorly as they are not being shot in a studio with proper lighting, but rather outdoors, in cars, or anywhere else they can find a place to fuck.
I think our biggest gripe comes with the fact that the site is featuring guys. Perhaps I'm in the minority here, but I tend to completely eliminate the guy from any porn scene I'm watching. I don't want to know his personality, his likes, or what the fuck he does for a living. We love the amateur feel of any porn audition site, but to do it with a guy just seems like a bad idea. I honestly just want to focus on the girl being fucked and pretend the guy is just some silly prop.
The girls are all real pornstars and you'll either see 1 or 2 participating in each shoot. We were very surprised to see the selection of ladies, and almost all were well above our quality standards. These guys are certainly lucky to have been chosen. The girls are professionals throughout and will suck and fuck the prospective porn stud silly.
Videos can be streamed through your browser in a variety of sizes. The bad news here is that you can't download them to your computer without purchasing "tokens" from the members section. Basically another add-on. There is a picture gallery attached to each episode as well and the pics are about as good as you can get from a poorly shot video. The one thing we definitely can say though is the Porn Stud Search videos are 100% exclusive and will not be found anywhere else on the web.
The site seemed to be a great idea back in 2003, but turned into a graveyard since. Perhaps it was just too difficult to put together videos on a regular basis, or perhaps the audience just wasn't into a porn audition featuring a guy instead of a girl. Whatever the case may be, they aren't updating the site anymore, and what you see is what you get. It is a good thing that the Discount Reality Sites network is attached to this site and you'll be able to navigate around 17 other reality porn sites.
Conclusion
It's a pretty unique concept, although we'd probably prefer it to be with girls instead of guys. The Ron Jeremy aspect is a nice novelty for fans of the hedgehog, but his role is very limited. With no updates in two years and nothing on the horizon, Porn Stud Search remains a nice novelty site to a very extensive network of reality porn sites. For the uniqueness, it may be worth a look, but the only value I really see from PornStudSearch is the killer network access that comes with it. At $40, don't join just for this site, but for the other 17 that are packaged along.
